As Partnerships Advisor, Zinzi Mutiso believes in the power of community in moving us forward for a better future and borrows from her legal background to explore how we grow.

She is a trained and qualified lawyer, knee-deep in the climate and environment sector. In 2022 she pivoted from traditional law into climate and environmental advocacy, inspired by her passion for the natural world.

Zinzi has worked as a Researcher and Consultant for a number of development institutions, lending support to documentation, strategic communication, report writing, and capacity building focused on educating and promoting inclusive, diverse and gender responsive approaches to climate action. She is integrating her experience into various approaches for natural resource management, land governance and community engagement.

At Sisters in Climate, she plays a pivotal role in fostering strategic alliances with organisations, community groups and stakeholders across the climate space. She is excited about opportunities where she can continue to bridge the gap between legal compliance, climate advocacy, and sustainable development.
