Storytelling Workshop for Refugee Changemakers Network

We curated and facilitated a bespoke skills-building workshop for the Refugee Change Makers Network.

The four hour session was held in Kakuma Refugee Camp, Kenya, and designed for female members of the RECAN network who want to tell their stories as they relate to climate adaptation and identities.

Session Moderation at the Africa Women Innovation & Entrepreneurship Forum | AWIEF

The AWIEF team invited us to moderate a session titled Climate Change and Entrepreneurship: Inclusive Green Economies in Africa.

This session took place in Cape Town during the 2024 AWIEF convening. The discussion was structured to strengthen public-private partnerships in Africa, to boost social equity, biodiversity protection, and food security.

Sustainability and Social Impact Community Event

In January 2025, we partnered with The Bloom to organise a sustainability and social impact community meet-up in Nairobi.

The event saw more than 40 people convene to discuss sustainability from personal and professional perspectives, with the intent of creating community to drive social change in and beyond Nairobi.

Project: Textile Waste Awareness in Nairobi

To understand the fashion industry’s effects on the environment and people, we partnered with Threading Change to create awareness on textile waste in Kenya. Among the activities this partnership delivered:

  • Digital knowledge products on textile waste origins and causes.

  • Educational tours of the Dandora Dumpsite in Nairobi.

  • Social awareness on textile waste management in Kenya.
