An intimate, community event, bringing together women living in Nairobi who have an interest and professional experience in the environmental space. The event will intersect this theme with the IWD 2023 theme: “embrace equity”.

We want to celebrate the work we do while also speaking about the gender-based impact from climate change, and what we can do individually and collectively (in our own little way) to be part of the climate action.

We aim for this event to be the beginning of a local sisterhood working towards a globally ‘cool’ future by working to protect the environment and support women at the frontline of climate-related disasters.
